MORGAN L. ANDERSEN, CPA - Morgan began his accounting career with the Big 8 Accounting Firm of Arthur Andersen, CPAs in 1981 and earned his CPA designation in 1985. He has worked in a variety of industries including the trucking, restaurant and hospitality, construction, professional services and cosmetology industries. Morgan is licensed in both Utah and California. He and his wife, Tina, are the parents of four children.
JULIE OLSEN, CPA Julie joined our firm in March 2011. Previous to her accounting career, she owned and operated a private detective agency for fourteen years. She previously worked for a large regional CPA firm where she specialized in tax planning and tax research. She received her Bachelors of Accounting degree from the University of Utah and her Masters of Accounting degree from Weber State University. Besides earning her CPA designation, she has also earned the designation of Cr.FA (Certified Forensic Accountant).
LYNN M. HILL - Lynn joined the firm in January 2009 and is a staff accountant. He works closely with our cosmetology schools, hair salons and hospitality industry clients. He has a background in auditing and internal auditing functions and for the last eighteen years has worked as controller or chief financial officer for a variety of small to mid size firms specializing in health care, graphics arts, web site hosting, and food service industries. Lynn earned his accounting degree from Utah State University. He and his wife, Corry, are the parents of five children.
JOHN H. BRUNT - John received his B.S. in Management with an emphasis in Finance from Brigham Young University. He joined the firm in May 2009 as a staff accountant/analyst. John works closely with our cosmetology school clientele to deliver financial statements, ratios, and internal analysis necessary to help build productivity and profitability for the schools.
SUPPORT STAFF - M. Andersen & Associates also has two support staff to assist in the day to day operations of the Firm. Each person brings unique and valuable skills that complement the focus of our accounting practice.
M. Andersen, & Associates opened its doors in February 2000. Previous to that time, Mr. Andersen was a partner in a local CPA firm for thirteen and one half years. M. Andersen & Associates provides a variety of services to a diverse clientele.
M. Andersen & Associates is a member of the American Institue of Certified Public Accountants and a member of the Utah Association of Certified Public Accountants.
M. Andersen & Associates provides accounting services and expertise to clients providing cosmetology school services. We service clients in the restaurant and construction industries. We also service a variety of other small business needs including compilation and tax services for individuals and estates, businesses and individuals, consulting services for business development and management, and accounting and tax services for the Internet environment and e-commerce.
